Subregional Dialogue on Health Financing

As part of the strong commitment of CARICOM Member States to advance Universal access to health and universal health coverage (Universal Health) in the Caribbean, the Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) will hold a Subregional Dialogue on Health Financing in the Caribbean on the 28 and 29 August 2018 at Hilton Hotel Barbados.

The Subregional Dialogue will bring together high-level government officials, international experts and subregional partners to discuss the main challenges on financing health services in the Caribbean and identify opportunities for strengthening subregional collaboration to tackle common challenges jointly. The Dialogue aims to discuss current challenges and opportunities for strengthening health financing towards Universal Health and to develop a subregional collaborative agenda for the Caribbean. The participants will also share evidence and lessons learned from country experiences in the Caribbean, as well as from Estonia, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Canada and the United States. Read more >>>
