“Gender-based Violence in Trinidad and Tobago, A Qualitative Study” was co-funded by the Government of Trinidad & Tobago through the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) Joint Programme on Gender-Based Violence and UN Women. This Trinidad and Tobago research project was coordinated by Team Leader, Dr. Gabrielle Hosein. The production of this report was coordinated by Isiuwa Iyahen, Programme Specialist – UN Women MCO Caribbean, with contribution and input from UN Women colleagues, Juncal Plazaola-Castaño, Policy Specialist Violence against Women Data, UN Women MCO Caribbean: Tonni Broder, Deputy Representative and Sharon Carter-Burke, Communications Analyst and Manuel Contreras, Research Director at the Global Women’s Institute at George Washington University.
